As the chill of winter sets in and the festive season is here, we recognise the challenges many families in our community face during these months. To support those in need during these tough times, especially with children often misplacing their winter essentials at school, we’re stepping up to make a difference.

Our initiative focuses on collecting hats, gloves, scarves, and woolly socks. We’re reaching out to our valued patients and dedicated team members for contributions. If you have winter gear at home that’s no longer needed – maybe your kids have outgrown their cold-weather accessories, or you’re decluttering for the holiday season – consider donating them instead of discarding.

Your contributions can bring warmth and comfort to someone else’s life. Together, let’s spread warmth and care in our community this winter.

Simply pop into any of our practices and drop your donations into the collection boxes in our waiting rooms. We’ll then collect all donations and deliver them to our local food banks ahead of Christmas.

Our commitment to giving back includes supporting local food banks, ensuring families in need receive necessary supplies and food.

This December, our team at Queensway Orthodontics is proud to have contributed essential food items worth £250 to each of our local food banks. This gesture aims to provide meals for numerous families during the festive season.

Embarking on Early Orthodontic Care: Pixie’s Journey to a Straight Smile with Invisalign First

Introducing Pixie, an adventurous 11-year-old who encountered dental challenges early in life. Pixie struggled with misaligned teeth, which not only made eating a task but also posed a risk during her favourite hobby, dancing. 

To address these issues with a kid-friendly yet effective approach, Pixie’s parents chose Invisalign First. This choice proved perfect for a young patient like Pixie, offering a smooth journey towards a well-aligned smile without hindering her everyday activities. At just 10 years old, Louie experienced a childhood accident that impacted his front teeth, affecting both his ability to enjoy meals and his self-confidence in smiling.

Our orthodontic treatment focused on realigning Louie’s teeth, aiming to restore his comfort in eating his favourite foods. Remarkably, just seven months of fixed metal braces, Louie now beams with a confident and proud smile.

Louie’s journey follows in the footsteps of his brother, Owen, who also underwent a successful Invisalign treatment with us. With Owen’s treatment complete, we couldn’t wait to make both brothers Queensway Stars – resulting in a fantastic photo shoot, beautifully captured by Gary Walsh Photography.
